I really felt like I got great value for my money at Sands Apartment in Whitby. The room was clean, homely, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was a fully functional oven in the apartment. We had already prepared food with the assumption that there would be an oven, so we had to adjust our meal plans.

The local pub and pizza restaurant were fantastic, and Whitby center was just a short drive away. Despite the rain, we had a perfect family getaway. Our stay at Sands Apartment in Whitby was absolutely delightful. The location was stunning, with beautiful views and just a short walk to the beach. The location is just beautiful! Easy to contact to find the place but plenty of space on its private carpark. The house was just perfect, clean and homely. Bed’s we’re comfy and additional bedding for the travel cot. Very cosy in the evenings. The views from the porch and living room are just beautiful when the sun is out. We didn’t use the cooking facilities other than the toaster as we ate out but the kitchen is so spacious. Accommodating if you have pets as we took our 2 sausage dogs and a 1 year old. 5 min walk to the beach with a cafe & local shop that sell everything you need. The local pub couple mins walk & most amazing Pizza restaurant called PizzaWest 10 min drive. Whitby centre only 15mins drive. Despite the rain, we had a perfect family for our LO’s 1st birthday/ Halloween. Definitely recommend for families.
